The ”Szczecin Classic” festival („Gramy w Classy”) is intended to popularize and present the classical music on the highest level. The Szczecin Classic formula is an occasion to begin the classical music adventure, directed towards the younger generations, as well as the experienced listeners. Among the most famous artists invited to the project are the concertmasters of Covent Garden Opera House in London – Vasko Vassilev and Andriy Viytovych, Konstantin Heidrich from Faure Quartett, concertmaster of the Zurich Opera – Bartłomiej Nizioł, concertmaster of Deutsche Oper in Berlin – Tomasz Tomaszewski, Simon Zhu, and one of the most famous Polish pianists – Michał Francuz. Aside from popularizing classical music by the world-renowned artists, the Festival is supposed to fulfill an educational task. Szczecin Classic Academy is a project directed towards the best students and graduates of the artistic colleges in Poland and Europe, built in a way that will allow its participants not only to take individual classes with the Masters, but also allow the participation in evening concerts of Szczecin Classic. The combination of exceptional abilities and personalities of the invited artists, the unique repertoire and accompanying events aim in creating a whole new quality in the presentation of classical music.
